Supervisors choose to ignore voters rights ONCE AGAIN and appointed a controller with no warning, notice or opportunity for public discussion on how to fill the vacant position. ALSO important question, why didn't they just put it on the next ballot, IT IS AN ELECTED OFFICE??? And, they are putting on the November ballot a new amendment that will permanently make the Controller position an appointed one. This is an elected position and should remain an elected one.
